I knew a girl who drew like this growing up but with animals as a subject. It always amazed me, and librarians would hang up her artwork around our elementary school's library. She never went on to do anything with it and is now a first-generation farmer. Somewhat weird and always made me wonder why. She did it for fun when she was a kid, and she could have been a prodigy like this kid. Oh well.

Excellent points. I can see that you have thought about this and have some great ideas. But we need to take a step back and consider a fundamental question: "Do we trust each other"?

All the things you mention above require a baseline of Trust and Respect to work. I have traveled to Thailand, China, Central Asia, and the Philippines, and I walked about there, rode Okada, entered villages, etc., in a way that I would not attempt in Naija. I go to my town, and I can't sleep in my grandmother's house because I have to stay one step ahead of the robbers or kidnappers.

In business, it's a challenging environment because there is no trust and respect. People will defraud you as per usual. It becomes impossible to have a functional business climate. I know many Nigerian friends who have tried various business ventures, including a trucking logistics company, fish farm, game hall, and importing premium shirts. All failed after hundreds of thousands of dollars of investment because Nigerians were dishonest and defrauded them.

How do we solve this? I don't know. But we need to do this first.

P.S. I was in Kyrgyzstan, and when I told them I was from Nigeria, they told me that a year ago, a Nigerian had lived there for a few years teaching English, got many students to pay $3,500 each for a "study abroad program in Canada", but had disappeared with the money. I was ashamed. How do we solve this?

Well... Although the study shows that sit-at-home moms work the hardest. However, modern changes accompanied by many factors have made women more interested in being career women.

I think that an average woman will prefer to stay home and not pursue a career, but for some of these reasons; family sizes are smaller, a lesser number of children means more time and energy for the woman (who is most involved in child raising), some women work to support their husbands financially, those whose husbands are buoyant enough, still work to be independent (having their own money to give their siblings, parents and other extended family members.

Imagine asking your husband all the time for money to share with your cousin who needs help when you could send the person money from your earnings if you were working). Also, many women pursue a career because it gives them a sense of purpose/fulfillment- imagine being a doctor and saving lives daily or a teacher and impacting young children.

I reckon a wise man will fuel his wife's career dreams and push her to the highest! The glory still comes to him one way or the other 🤷

What pains me more about Keyamo is that before now, he was one of the most vibrant & intelligent lawyers. But the moment he joined Buhari - APC - government. He instantly changed! He now talks & sounds empty, more like a tout.

Thank God for life👏 but we should be careful with the things we put on our cars 🙏 your car has Nigeria Navy, and I’m sure you’re not a soldier. The military advises people on that because soldiers are the main target in any attack!! ✌️
