This is really sad. Drug abuse is really damaging lives all over the Nigeria but much more in the North. A research carried out showed that Kano state has the highest number of drug abusers in Nigeria and by extension Africa. Every 1 out of 4 youth in Kano state is abusing one or more drugs according to researches. There is a very serious need to declare emergency in this area by government, parents, schools ,families , churches, mosques etc. All hands need to be on deck to tame this menace or else in the next few years the leaders of tomorrow may be drug addicts and wrecks. Right parenting is very key in correcting this menace. Also peer pressure need to be tackled. Show me your friend and I can tell who you are.

No need for domestic violence. Say no to it. Men, as well as women, pass through a lot in marriage. Society doesn't believe men most times. The woman might have done that so many times, and the man, being hot-tempered, overdid the slap. I am not for laying hands on anyone, but everyone knows their spouse. The cell phone problem is terrible; some people will be on their cellphone and forget even what they are cooking to get burnt. The girl said that she is not a cook. I pray that she marries someone rich enough to employ a cook for her. Let us wait until she gets married.

This is almost a general notion making waves abroad, everybody will tell you to join the medical field otherwise you won't make it. This is actually not true as there are a lot of thing you can do to make a living. But the only thing is that you don't want to be filling job applications everyday. Most people abroad need job security as their responsibilities are so much considering extended families back home. But the truth is that you can still excel in other fields you only need time and dedication, remain stubbornly focused on your dream career and one day you will see yourself at the top. The difference is that most medical field jobs come in very handy like you almost don't have to search to get them.
