Photos Story Of My Journey This Morning To A Bush Market In Nigeria

I major in the yam fries business as one of my side hustles, and getting tubers are pretty expensive in my hood.

A small tuber of yam could go as high as ₦800. You dare not frown face for the seller.

So as an intelligent and innovative street bizness person, I decided to hit the local market closer to us. The journey ahead was filled with hitches from rumors of assumed reprisal attacks from the youths, floods, etc.

So welcome to how my journey started

The frustrating ₦800 tuber of yam in my hood .

I had no choice but to relax. I was scared, Sha because I left my kids at home and trusted my son to be overly dramatic.

Finally, we scaled the gridlock huddle and had to pass thru flood, water even entered the Marwa(Keke)

I had the luxury of dipping my legs inside the water(covers face)

The burnt car was razed down by the angry youths because three young men's lives were cut off. Rip to them.

We passed thru some beautiful scenes, and I took beautiful pictures.

The patches of dried blood on the ground from those young boys that were killed.

Very soon, I go vexed, keep my aquaphobic fears aside and enter canoe sail to Solomon's island.

We finally got to the market. It was less crowdy, maybe because the flood had displaced them.

Things were somewhat pricey. I got a few tubers of yam, a bag, and a half of potatoes.

And I made a new friend, and her name is joy. I told her she was going to be my potatoes plug. Like I cud call her to translate potatoes down to my end.

A bag of potatoes goes for ₦2500: Diary, chicken money.

When a local woman cannot walk again, Lol. She had to locate a nearby hut to fill her stomach and prepare for the journey back home.

When we returned home, I was glad that those angry youths yaff disappeared.

In all, for chikini money, I got things that could fetch me lots of money.

You see that bag of potatoes there that goes for ₦2500, it could fetch me more than ₦20k when properly sliced and fried.

The street is wise, it's booming, and it's the abandoned goldmine.

I m at home now taking my shower and relaxing. Hope you enjoyed my photo story

Walahi, doing childish things actually relaxes the brain... I was working on a research project, im code don dabaru halfway (coders will understand). I could cut the tension around me with a knife... Fortunately, it started raining, I stood up from my system, removed my clothes wearing only boxers, and decided to play in the rain, my girlfriend then thought I was crazy but later joined me...

After the whole playing in the rain, went to bed straight... While resting I dreamt about the solution to the code and with little modifications, I was able to debug d code...

So, my dear sister, I can assure you that playing like a child relaxes the soul n sharpens the mind...

Ugbolu market, things are no longer cheap there. The only thing cheap there is vegetables.

People should prepare for hunger cos this flood death with farmers, we the consumers will suffer the pains more. That future is female fellow will never create a sane thread like this... Rape, rape, rape is all she knows.
