Possibly because he supplies the NEXT supermarket chain of stores, Hero beer factory, and all Cubana lounges. 'Industrious man makes life for himself' is all I see. Power to him

The level of your illiteracy is that you would have enquired how much a gallon of good palm wine from Enugu is sold. A gallon(4litres) on a typical market day is sold 8k, and in the festive period, it sold from 20k-30k due to demand, and the smallest wine seller comes to market with not less than 3 gallons in a day. So a normal wine tapper in Igbo land that has enough palm trees that are his own is not your mate on a typical day , he might be selling more than 50gallons a day with his contact

You could still have made your point without the opening statement.

Kudos to the palm wine tapper.

I hope he will show his fellow tappers the way.

got 1 gallon of palm wine on Sunday for 7k..

The man mentioned the minimum and maximum number of gallons he produces daily. Let's go with a minimum = of 10 gallons during the dry season. (20 - 25 during the rainy season). Each gallon sells at 7K.

A day during dry season = 70k. A week during dry season = 490K.

Even if someone can consistently earn 50K per day for five years, what is 25m? That is the mathematics you wanted to see.

I am not from South East, but South-South. I grew up in a typical village with many palm wine tappers. In my community/state, palm wine is less expensive than in Igboland because we tap raffia palm trees, not palm oil trees. Yet more than 60% of the palm wine tappers in my community built nice/big block houses and sent their kids to good secondary schools in the 80s/90s. 2 of them, their kids were among the 1st set of university graduates from my village.

In Nigeria today, it is possible to hide under any trade to commit a crime. That is why we see red flags everywhere whenever someone in a "lowly" business is seen with things we think are the exclusive rights of the high and mighty.

Hard work and consistency still pay!

We're both educated people. Something inside you should be telling you that you can't even consistently get 10 gallons of palm tree sap from 56 palm trees every day.

Palm trees are not rivers. Each of those gallons looks like 5 liters to me. Fifty liters everyday day from 57 trees is a lie. Talk more than 130 liters every day.

Each tree usually produces less than 20 liters a month.

Some Ignoramus calls every White Drink in a Container as Palm Wine. The Best Palm Wine is Tapped from Live Palm Trees in the Location where the Water Table is very far from the Surface of the earth. Though Palm Wine Could equally be tapped from Palm Trees in Surface Water Areas, the Concentration of those is not the same as those tapped from a location where water is very far from the Surface. Those suitable types of Palm Wines are mostly tapped from the Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State and some Nearby Enugu Local Government areas like Igboeze South and North, Udenu, and other parts. Palm Wine from Rafia palms, like the ones around Ikrodu Lagos, differs from what they say here. Palm Wine obtained from fallen Palm Wine Trees is in a different Class too. If Undiluted, the Real Palm Wine from Live Palm Trees has no Foreign drinks equal!

Nowadays, human beings can be undefined, but people can make fortunes by tapping palm wine. If he has palm trees up to the numbers he mentioned in the video, then it's possible.

After Critical Observation of his Waist using the type of Climbing Rope he is carrying, I became doubtful because the Climbing Rope is supposed to make his Waist very Dark in complexion since he climbs so many Palm Trees severally per day.

it is very possible if the man is prudent , disciplined with money,in the typical Igbo village there are meetings every 4 market day that business people, farmers, artisans contribute and save money,a palm wine tapper like that suppose to save a good amount every 4 days and he will target to use the money and store palm oil and sell when the prices double, thus increasing his money×3,don't joke with Igbo people on how to cultivate and grow money on a small scale they are the masters

For real, I knew a palm wine tapper who bought lands everywhere in our community, built better houses, and trained his seven children through the university. Sometimes it's not about what we do, and it's the blessings we carry

I Am Not surprised. Igbos and using small businesses to cover their face for their hidden shady deals are 5 & 6. Trust them at your peril

I pity those believing this trash. If you've seen a professional liar before, you won't doubt what I'm saying. I'm not saying it's not possible, but maybe he has sons abroad. He PROBABLY INVESTED THE MONEY HE GOT FROM THIS BUSINESS INTO, which made him hit big.

Telling me you bought Gle and built this fine house in these challenging times with palm wine tapping is a FAT lie!

It would help if you had an unlimited area of land for that.

My cousins, who grew up in the village but lived in Abuja, now do not touch beer or spirits again once they come home. They'll tell U those things are chemicals.

In a day, 2 of them and their friends could drink up to 5 gallons of palm wine, and each was sold b/w 6k to 8k this Christmas. A typical Igbo man values palm wine more than any drink, and our soil type gives the best palm wines.

This is a lie. Any mathematically sound person can efficiently run the numbers. It's a lie. He should tell you where he got 25 million to raise that duplex to that level and 15 million to buy that Benz there.

40 million, my ass. Only in Nigeria

I should add Palm wine tapping to my prophetic ministry to boost my income. But that tree scares me. I don't want to climb with my Bell, then fall and break my precious waist.

Let me continue with my prophetic ministry.

Everything is possible as far as you're consistent with it.

Well done, sir. You deserve these achievements.
