A Container Falls On A Fully Loaded Bus In Ojuelegba, Lagos State, This Afternoon, January 29.

This container by his side when I was coming from church this afternoon in Surulere bridge and I was telling my sister that I am scared to overtake this container because it bend . So I have to wait a for the front space to be free before I can overtake with speed. And this same container has finally fall on an innocent person. God I thank you for protection

Rescue who😭😭😭 Gosh, people are dead. who is going to survive that like why can't driver be humane by driving carefully knowing fully well añy mistake can result to loss of lives???

Only in this Nigeria that the same “avoidable” tragic occurrence is in repeat mode due to bad governance. I really hope this coming election will eventually make a difference.

Rescue???? Who will they be rescuing from this crumbled vehicle???
They need to implement new laws and regulations on trucks and trailers going through that bridge. This ojuelegba bridge has taken too many lives since I was a little girl and nothing is yet to be done about it. It’s ridiculous

The reason is because majority of Nigerians don't vote responsible politicians into power because of peanuts given to them on the day of election. And many others vote based on sentiments(tribalism) instead of competence and that is why we don't have responsible government in Nigeria; that is why we don't get people oriented policies from the government at all levels here in Nigeria; lives are lost in large numbers in avoidable motor accidents daily! God help us!!

This stop in ojuelegbe is one of the most dangerous stop in Lagos. The number of tankers that always fall on this spot yearly is unthinkable.

i remember being scared of such an incident at the same spot when a trailer was passing alongside the bus I was in and everyone in the bus was like...sister you too dey fear, na wetin u dey fear dey happen the most....now una don see why I dey fear abi.....we have to be vigilant in these times😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

And NOTHING will happen to the driver, the trucking company or the road safety officials. This will continue to happen because NOBODY will be held accountable. Innocent people will suffer for their nonchalant attitude towards basic health and safety rules.

If not for the dubiousness of the people, these trucks should be operating in the night but people will still use it as an avenue to perpetrate evil acts. These trucks should be using their own separate roads ahbegb

When a country has zero safety standards, this happens. No other country on the planet will accept such safety standard for shipping company. Not even Bangladesh or India. None ONLY NIGERIA

Make rail ways for these containers they refused, they prefer to cut corners so they can make money from the trucks, I wish all those who has died like this can haunt those Bast**d governments. Ah Jesus!💔💔💔 🙆🏻‍♂️

This keeps happening because there is no legislation and enforcement against it. Beyond any of prayers, we need to do our bits. If they can create BRT lane, why can’t they create truck lanes?

Why must they always fall on other vehicles. Something really needs to be done about all these bad trucks on the Lagos roads...,
