Enough with the talk. The Hospital was not equipped to handle an emergency. The Lagos State Govt should have fitted a Lekki Accident Management Facility to handle this. Or is it only an Airport that Lekki needs? Speaking of which, where did this accident occur? Was it on a well-lit stretch of road, or was it a pot-holed stretch? The Hospital can only answer for what it did not do, not for why the victim had an accident and the same circumstances.

Yeah, with the explanation from the hospital, a lot of things make sense. The nurse was apparently talking to the person taking the video, not to her colleagues.

Also, bleeding from the nose and ears indicates severe head injury. The guy needed a neurosurgeon urgently, which was why he was referred—the low Glasgow coma score and the fact that he was probably drinking made the matter worse.

The guy did not die of negligence. He died of a severe head injury. I betcha that the trauma was too intense for anything to be done.

Drive carefully

Anything they said, Doren did. They probably did it. A friend took his baby there last year, and the unprofessionalism was beyond belief.

I remembered him calling me and lamenting on the phone how the Hospital was just after money and wasn't even after due care of the baby. Also, the statement pointing to the fact that he smells of Alcohol is just baited to divert from their negligence. Even if he smelled of Igbo and Alcohol, how does that excuse an accident victim from being placed on a chair like that without restraints? And hospital employees walking around like idiots?

Even if a 'good Samaritan did the filming,' it still exposed the hospital and its inaptitude staff. The way and manner the accident victim was handled in that video were so unprofessional. If there had been no video, no one would have been aware of what happened during that emergency.

They are all useless.

We shouldn't speak badly about the dead, but look how he ended due to his bad attitude. When you are about to get drunk due to unavoidable circumstances, you call someone you know to drive you home.

The video made it apparent that the staff didn't do the recording because one could hear a lady saying, shey nor be una dey work here. She refused to offer assistance until one of the staff (maybe a senior staff) stopped her from recording.

Yet, they found a way to upload the video still to paint the hospital badly. Nigerians or women instead always looking for people to blame and fall.

It is easy to have faith and trust God when you are not confronted with an issue or pain. It is normal to feel this way especially when you prayed and had faith, but he has a reason for everything. I pray God gives all his loved ones the strength, peace, and will be needed to move on from this phase.

At all times we must trust that all things are working for our good. Even when we don't understand it, even when it hurts, even in times of loss because GOD is always good and the bible contains His words. It is well!!!
